Kavala, close to sign Cedric Simmons

Former NBA forward Cedric Simmons is closing a deal with Greek team Kavala. Simmons was already inked to play for Kavala at the start of the season, but the club ruled out his signing due to his physical condition. Simmons has played this season for the Idaho Stampede in the D-League, and then was signed by DongGuan New Century Leopards in China. 24-year-old player will replace center Dragan Ceranic.
