Another name, according to the Greek media, is David Blatt, who is reported to be in talks with Aris Thessaloniki to extend his contract for two more years. Blatt is represented by the same agent, Gorka Arrinda, of the two last head coaches of Valencia, Fotis Katsikaris and Neven Spahija. If Blatt is signed to take over Valencia, the ACB rules would force him to leave the Russian national team before starting the season.
