Olympiakos could be interested in Derrick Caracter

The Los Angeles Lakers haven't decided yet to sign a contract to Derrick Caracter, selected by the NBA franchise with the 58th overall pick in the last draft. The 22-year-old American center could be on the radar of several European teams, in case the Lakers finally decided to pass on him, though the Denver Nuggets and the New York Knicks could be also eyeing Caracter. Olympiakos, two Italian teams and one Israeli team would have shown interest for Caracter, who averaged 14.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game during his junior year with the University of Texas-El Paso.
