Doug Collins, leading candidate to be the next head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers are close to announce the new head coach who will replace Eddie Jordan. The leading candidate is reported to be the veteran coach and TV analyst Doug Collins, while Avery Johnson and Sam Mitchell could be the alternatives. Other names like Dan Majerle, Bill Laimbeer, Monty Williams and Elston Turner could be already ruled out.
