Matt Freije leaves the Lebanon to play in Puerto Rico

Matt Freije has left the Lebanese team Sporting Al-Riyadi to sign for a Puerto Rican team. This decision could also mean the American-Lebanese center won't be able to play for the Asiatic national team in the next World Championship. Freije, who played in the NBA for the New Orleans Hornets and the Altanta Hawks, will be back to Puerto Rico after leaving the Criollos de Caguas in 2009.
