Boston Celtics sign Tony Gaffney for the rest of the season

Boston Celtics have signed Tony Gaffney for the rest of the season. The former star of the University of Massachussets failed to earn a spot in the Los Angeles Lakers roster last summer, and started his rookie season playing for the Israeli team Galil Gilboa, leaving the team due to a foot injury and remaining unsigned since then. The 25-year-old forward will strenghten the Celtics in the upcoming NBA playoffs.
