Italian team Angelico Biella add Guillermo Díaz. The 28-year-old Puerto Rican guard, also known as "Superman" because of his leaping ability, finished last season in Caserta. Díaz was selected in 2005 NBA draft by Los Angeles Clippers, playing with the Californian franchise 6 games during 2008-09 season. Salva Guardia is officially back to Fuenlabrada. Boston Celtics recall J.R. Giddens after being assigned to D-League Maine Red Claws for 8 days. It's official. Salva Guardia was released by Bilbao Basket, after a year and a half in the team. Guardia signed until the end of this season, but won't finish it in Bilbao. Now, Guardia is said to sign soon with Ayuda en Acción Fuenlabrada, for the rest of the season and the next one. Veteran Spanish center played 73 games with the Basque team.

The Reno Bighorns have acquired guard Will Blalock from the Maine Red Claws in exchange for guard Russell Robinson. Blalock, a 6-1 guard out of Iowa State, averaged 8.5 points and 5.6 assists with the Red Claws this season. He played in 14 NBA games with the Detroit Pistons in the 2006-07 season. Former Real Madrid and Spain NT coach Javier Imbroda rejected an offer of the Lebanese Basketball Federation in December. Imbroda is not coaching any team since last summer, but rejected the offer. NBA commissioner David Stern has suspended Gilbert Arenas for the rest of the season, and the Washington Wizards' star guard has told associates that he will not appeal the league's decision, according to a league source.
