Kevin Durant signs a five-year, $85 million extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder

According to his verified Twitter acount, Kevin Durant has signed a five-year extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The 21-year-old forward has played during his three years as a professional for the franchise (still named Seattle Supersonics during the 2007-08 season), averaging 30.1 points (top scorer) and 7.6 rebounds per game in the last one.

UPDATE: The agent of Durant, Aaron Goodwin, confirmed the deal, which would be worth $85 million.
