Aleks Maric, first objective to replace Nikola Pekovic in Panathinaikos, with Sofoklis Schortsanitis and Ian Vogioukas as alternatives

As reported a week ago, Panathinaikos will make a strong push to bring Aleks Maric after the departure of Nikola Pekovic to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 26-year-old Australian center, who played last season for Partizan, is the first target, but the Greek team is also considering two other options: Sofoklis Schortsanitis (if finally doesn't reach to an agreement with the Los Angeles Clippers) and Ian Vougioukas (on the radar of Maccabi Tel Aviv)
