Virtus Bologna, interested in Gerald Fitch and Giuseppe Poeta

Virtus Bologna has showed interest to land Gerald Fitch next season, according to the Italian media. The 27-year-old American guard played last season for Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, averaging 17.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. The Spanish team signed Fitch last season to a two-year contract, so Virtus would have to negociate with Fuenlabrada to sign Fitch, with experience in Italy after playing for Pallacanestro Cantù in the 2007-08 season. Another target for Virtus Bologna is Giuseppe Poeta. The 24-year-old guard, recently in Banca Tercas Teramo, is also on the radar of several Italian and Spanish teams.
